Deeper Life Pastor Abductors Demand ₦30m Ransom

• The kidnappers insisted that the ransom was not negotiable

Gunmen who abducted a Deeper Life Bible Church Pastor, Otamayomi Ogedengbe, in Ondo State has said they will only release the cleric after a ransom of ₦30 million is paid.

The abductors made this known after contacting the pastor’s family.

Pastor Ogedengbe, a native of Akungba Akoko in Akoko South West Local Government Area of the state was kidnapped three days ago.

He was Kidnapped from a church located along Irese road in Akure South Local Government Area of the state on Monday night around 8:37pm.

A family source said the kidnappers insisted that the ransom was not negotiable

With the details of the discussion with the family still sketchy as at press time, the victim’s wife, Yinka Ogedengbe cried out to security agencies to help rescue her husband unhurt as quickly as possible due to his state of health.

According to the police, the pastor’s wife said her husband was abducted at the end of the church service by the armed men.
