The death of B-Elect, a member of now-defunct Nigerian Hip-Hop group, Da Thoroughbreds, has been announced.
Thw death of B-Elect, born, Andrew Bright Erighono, was made known on Saturday, with the Fine Arts graduate of the University of Nigerian, Nsukka (UNN) said to have died of cardiac arrest with not much known about his age.
Apart from his activities as a rapper, he was a writer, public speaker and branding, communications and advertising consultant.
The rapper became the toast of Nigerian hip hop after launching the 5-track EP, “Streethop” along with his group members. But the beloved group disbanded after Illbliss decided to go solo while Obiwon sought a new direction. In 2013, B-Elect dropped his album ‘Hard Listeners’ featuring Illbliss, Thorough Breds, XYZ and others.
