In a tragic incident in Evwreni Community, Delta State, a man named Samson, who killed his son, murdered a nursing mother, and injured others under mysterious circumstances, was caught by an enraged mob and beaten to death.
His body was then set on fire in an act of jungle justice.
The incident occurred in the early hours of the previous day. According to sources, around 2 a.m., Samson fatally struck his young son.
While people gathered to sympathize, he attacked and killed a nursing mother named Princess and injured another man, whose identity is still unknown.

A local resident, speaking anonymously, said that Samson had been acting erratically in recent days and was scheduled to be taken to a medical center for treatment before the tragedy unfolded.
“He killed his toddler son, then attacked a woman who was taking her child to the toilet, and injured several others, including young men who tried to stop him,” the source explained.

“Eventually, he was caught, beaten, and his body was set on fire along with his motorcycle.”
Although Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Edafe Bright, could not be reached for comment, a senior security official confirmed the incident, stating, “By the time our officers arrived at the scene, the suspect had already been set ablaze.”
