Delta Government Extends Lockdown By Two Weeks

The Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has announced an extension of the sit-at-home order in the state by two weeks.

The order which was enacted onApril 1st, was to expire today April 14th. In a state broadcast this morning, the state governor said the extension was necessary to identify, isolate and detect cases.

“It is for the public good and interest in our health. I urge all Deltans to cooperate with us” he said

Delta state has three confirmed cases of Coronavirus with one death.
