Recognizing the pioneering role and accomplishments of the LSSTF, regarded as the foremost and most successful security trust fund in the country, the DSSTF delegation, comprising the chairman, board members, executive secretary, and management staff, sought to learn firsthand from the trailblazers in Lagos.

During their visit, the LSSTF organized onsite training sessions to impart knowledge on the modalities for operating an effective trust fund. The sessions covered various aspects of fund management, resource allocation, and strategic partnerships to enhance security operations.

Furthermore, the visiting team had the opportunity to witness the impact of the LSSTF’s initiatives through visits to some of the fund’s beneficiaries. This hands-on experience provided valuable insights into the practical implementation of security programs and their positive effects on the community.

In addition to the training sessions, the LSSTF arranged a tour of a world-class, indigenous security equipment manufacturing company. This experience highlighted the importance of fostering local industry and leveraging homegrown capabilities to support security initiatives effectively.

On the final day of their visit, the DSSTF team was treated to a farewell dinner, providing an opportunity for further networking and knowledge sharing with their counterparts in Lagos.
