EKO HOT BLOG reports that President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met with former President Goodluck Jonathan at the venue of the 2022 Democracy Day celebration.
This online reports that the nation’s number one political leader arrived at the Eagles Square in Abuja this morning as the Special Guest of Honour.
The event received the presence of political big wigs, diplomats, secondary school students, pupils, All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu and top government officials.
President Buhari was seen in photographs with Jonathan, flanked by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Speaker House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammad, APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu and other political big wigs.

Meanwhile, former Kaduna Central lawmaker and activist, Senator Shehu Sani, has hailed the Muhammadu Buhari government for recognising June 12 as Democracy Day.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Sunday, Sani said the recognition of June 12 as a democracy day is a positive mark for the Buhari administration.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain also commended the Buhari government for the immortalisation and the appreciation of the struggle for democracy led by MKO Abiola.
