    EKO HOT BLOG reports that the wife of a 25-year-old man who committed suicide by jumping into Lagos lagoon in Epe, Ms Sofiat Amusa, has attributed her husband death to frustration, depression and lack of parental care.

    The ugly incidents that claimed her husband’s life occurred at around 7:15am on Tuesday, 3-day ago, she told the News Agency of Nigeria in an interview, in Epe, on Friday.

    she disclosed that her husband has been intimidating the family with frightening goodbye messages, instructing his parent to take care of his wife and his 11month old baby girl.

    The 21-year-old wife said that both of them are not legally married but have been known as spouse to both parents.

    “We live together before his demise but he has been acting strangely for a couple of days before his death.

    “I complain about his strange behaviours to his parent but they ignore not until his death.

    “Lack of parental care, depression and frustration of not being attended to him by his parents, constituted to her husband’s death,” she said.

    Amusa debunked the age of her late husband as being 21-year-old as spread on social media, she said that her husband, Olamikekan Odunare was 25-year-old old, while she the wife is 21-year-old.

    “I and my husband are December born, my husband was born in December 1st while me the wife was born in December 22nd.

    “We use to celebrate our Birthday together on December 22nd during my Birthday.

    “My husband studied Quantity Survey in Lagos Polytechnic(Laspotcch) he is an OND holder, ” she said.

    Amusa appealed to all Nigerians to come to her rescue for food and cash support to take care of the innocent baby her husband left behind.

    “I can’t take care of the baby girl alone, I need help from philanthropists, NGOs and other well-meaning Nigerians.

    “I am learning tailoring, I don’t collect salary, I have been surviving with my husband salaries before his death, now that he is late, I have nothing to fall back to for a living.

    “My late husband works at Alaro city in Epe which we have been surviving with his monthly salaries, I need help from Nigerians to train the baby to university level, ” she said.
