EKO HOT BLOG reports that established by the Ondo State Government in 2008, OAUSTECH was formerly known as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH) before being renamed in December 2019. As a technology-driven institution, OAUSTECH focuses on manpower training to support industrial and technological advancements in Ondo State and Nigeria. The university currently operates three schools—Science, Engineering and Engineering Technology, and Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources—with nearly 5,000 students.

Job Summary
The Deputy Bursar will support the Bursar in managing the university’s financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of a Second Class Lower Division degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Possession of any of the following professional qualifications: ACA, ICAN, ANAN, ACMA, CPA (higher degrees are an added advantage).
- At least 12 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of three (3) years as a Chief Accountant in a university or similar higher institution.
- Strong professional competence and proficiency in accounting software applications.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, transparency, and financial prudence.
