Despite Violence, Lagos #ENDSARS Protesters Regroup

• #ENDSARS protesters in Lagos have begun to reconvene for another day of demonstration despite violence in the commercial nerve of the nation.

Ekohotblog gathered that protesters in Lekki and Ikeja areas have begun preparation for another day of demonstration.

One of the protesters, told our correspondent: “Although I’ve been campaigning on Twitter, and Instagram I just decided to join physically”.

Another said: “In spite of the attacks carried out on the protestors yesterday, we are not backing out.

“We don’t want policemen and other security agents here,we have our own security men without arms and they have been keeping the peace so far.”

Demonstrations across Nigeria have been going on for over two weeks.

The protesters are calling for police reforms and good governance.

Highways and expressways have been blocked with major businesses, schools and offices shut down.
