Didier Deschamps, the coach who led France to World Cup glory in 2018 and captained the team to their 1998 triumph, is reportedly set to announce his departure as head coach of the national team.

According to L’Equipe, Deschamps will conclude his tenure after the 2026 World Cup, marking the end of a remarkable era with Les Bleus.

Deschamps is expected to reveal his decision in a charity interview with France’s first lady, Brigitte Macron.
