We are currently recruiting for the position below:

Job Title: Digital & Communications Associate

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

Pulse Nigeria is seeking a Digital & Communications Associate to support its corporate communication and digital engagement efforts. The role will oversee the Google SGE project, manage corporate social media channels, and enhance internal communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Google SGE Project Management:

  • Implement Google SGE action plans as directed by the parent company.
  • Collaborate with content, tech, SEO, and editorial teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor performance, track compliance, and report progress to leadership.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to Google SGE updates.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation for ongoing optimization.

Social Media & Content Management:

  • Manage Pulse Nigeria’s corporate social media accounts, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including LinkedIn posts, blog articles, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and provide performance reports.
  • Respond to inquiries and comments to foster online community engagement.

Corporate Communications & Internal Engagement:

  • Assist in executing internal communication strategies, including newsletters and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Source and develop content for corporate communications, including case studies and client testimonials.
  • Support event planning for industry summits and corporate engagements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in communications, digital marketing, or editorial roles.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
  • Understanding of Google SGE, ChatGPT, and AI-driven digital tools.
  • Experience with Canva, Google Analytics, CMS platforms, and social media scheduling tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
