Dignitaries Grace Ogun School Inter-House Sports

Grace Hall School has celebrated its third annual inter-house sports with the present of different dignitaries who graced the occasion with their influential positions.

The occasion which took place on the 29 February, 2020 at the school field, Adisa Obedina Avenue, Power line, Sefu Ota, Ibafo, Ogun State, featured many other invited schools like Ziggy Wisdom School,  The Lord’s Academy and Divine Children School , Radiant Nursery and Primary School among others.

The Proprietress of the school, Mrs. Grace Fadahunsi, said, in her speech “sporting activities form a very important part of school life”.

She added that apart from the opportunity to compete with one another, the students would also discover new talents outside the competition. She Encouraged the student to also see the avenue as opportunity to create relationship with students from other schools.

The Chairman of the Occasion, Femi Ajadi commended all the teachers of the school for the wonderful job they have been doing through impacting positively  into the lives of the children despite the fact that the parents have not been displaying signs of enough appreciation.

Ajadi added that he wondered how life would be if everybody decided not to be a teacher, advising that all the teachers should keep on doing their great job which has made most of the students to see them as mentors,  leaders, and mirror they see as replicational objects to be mimicked.

“I want to also appreciate all my fellow parents for the efforts put in to make sure that these children become somebody in life, praying that may the children be successful in life,” he said.

“Omo to ba fe je Ashamu ati kekere ni yo ti ma jenu Shamu. It means educability of a child depends on his readiness to learn. So, parents are the ones that will always guide them. Protect them; support their Career, and give them room to express their feelings. Remember that they are our great leaders in the future.”

The four houses that participated in the various featured activities are: Grace House which owes the blue colour, Mercy House which owes the green colour, Victoria House which owes maroon colour and Peace House which its colour is yellow.

Maroon colour emerged first, yellow colour took second and the blue colour became third.

Ajadi, who is also a presidential aspirant donated some amount of money for the need of the school and development of sports activities.
