Water has been deemed the most useful to man, something that no one can live without. The earth is thought to hold approximately 75% of the world’s water.
Drinking dirty water can be quite hazardous to our health. According to study, many people have suffered different kinds of sicknesses as a result of drinking dirty water.
1. DRACUNCULIASIS
When water infected with water fleas is consumed, dracunculiasis spreads. The symptoms of this virus are uncommon, but prevention is simple. This infection is best avoided by boiling and filtering drinking water before use. This disease has been identified in Africa, be aware of the risk. Ponds and streams are the principal sources.
2. TYPHOID FEVER
Typhoid has become more prevalent as a result of a lack of adequate clean water sources in poor nations. It has been reported that in underdeveloped countries, one child dies every 40 seconds from typhoid.
Hand washing is one of the most effective ways to prevent this disease. However, in some developing nations, three out of every ten people do not wash their hands after using the restroom, and this is another form of transmission. Personal cleanliness is really important.

3. CHOLERA
This waterborne illness cholera has greatly caused problems where there is no adequate sanitation or safe water supply. A cholera patient loses more than a litre of bodily fluid every hour.
