“Don’t Allow Nigeria To Disintegrate,” Emir Of Gwandu Warns

  • A series of agitations have been taking place in various parts of the country for quite some time now.

Several groups have stated that they are tired of being part of one Nigeria and therefore would desire to break-away from the Nigerian nation.

On that note, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, the Emir of Gwandu and Chairman of the Kebbi State Traditional Rulers Council, has aired his view.

According to the traditional ruler, Nigerians must remain obedient and respectful to their leaders in order to restore sanity to the nation.

The monarch gave this advice at the inauguration of the Zoramawa Development Association (ZODA) Educational Endorsement Fund and the presentation of the almanac award at the presidential hall in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

Nigerians should not cause the country to disintegrate, according to the traditional ruler.

“I preach to the citizenry to remain loyal, have respect for leaders, and co-exist as an indivisible country,” the Emir said.
