Controversial social commentator, Reno Omokri has come out to disagree with the cause of the mysterious deaths in Kano as stated by the Commissioner for Information.

Ekohotblog had reported that the Kano state commissioner of information, Muhammad Garba, in a statement said findings by the state ministry of health has shown that most of the deaths were caused by complications arising from hypertension, diabetes, meningitis and acute malaria and not Coronavirus.

However, Reno Omokri slammed the Northern government for lying and failing to admit the truth.

He said their reasons were the dumbest thing he has heard in 2020.

He now concluded by saying help would not come if they feel ashamed to accept the fact that Coronavirus is the cause of the deaths.

“The dumbest thing I heard in 2020 is that malaria is to blame for increased deaths in Kano. What is so shameful about #COVID19 that you can’t admit the truth? You do ‘verbal autopsy’ (first time I‘ve heard of that) and blame Malaria. You are not ready for help!”, He tweeted.
