Dr. Toyin Taiwo Becomes New Chief of Staff to Ogun State Governor
- Prior to his appointment, Toyin Taiwo was the Deputy Chief of Staff to the governor
- Taiwo had served as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism
- He is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he obtained a B.Sc. in Statistics
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has appointed Dr. Toyin Taiwo as his new Chief of Staff.
Eko Hot Blog reports that gathered that the announcement was made public through a statement signed by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade.

Prior to this appointment, Dem Toyin Taiwo served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the governor.
Taiwo’s appointment took effect on December 18, and the governor officially handed over the letter of appointment to him on Wednesday.
The newly appointed Chief of Staff has been an integral part of Abiodun’s administration, contributing significantly to the state’s development and progress.
The statement added, “The appointment, according to the letter, took effect from 18th December 2024.
“The governor, while congratulating the new Chief of Staff, described the appointment as well-deserved”.

Prior to his current role, Taiwo served as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism during Abiodun’s first term in office.
Dr. Taiwo holds a B.Sc. in Statistics from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and has further advanced his education by pursuing degrees up to the Ph.D. level.
