Dr Tunji Alausa Officially Hands Over Ministry of Health [State] to Successor, Salako
Dr. Moruf Tunji Alausa, the Minister of Education, has officially handed over the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare documents to his successor, Dr. Salako Iziaq Adeboye.
Recall that Dr. Alausa was redeployed to the Ministry of Education in a recent cabinet shake-up.
At the handover ceremony, the Coordinating Minister of Health, Prof. Ali Pate, praised Dr. Alausa’s exceptional leadership and people management skills, citing their fruitful collaboration.
Dr. Alausa expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the trust placed in him, stating that he doesn’t see it as a promotion but as more work and assuring his support for Dr. Salako.
In his remarks, Dr. Salako emphasized health as a top human priority after life. Drawing from his background in the environment ministry, he vowed to complement existing efforts and welcome feedback at all levels.
