A viral video on X shows social media personality Okuneye Idris, widely known as Bobrisky, being escorted off an Amsterdam-bound KLM flight on Thursday night.

The incident came shortly after social commentator Isaac Fayose, brother of former Ekiti State Governor, posted a photo with Bobrisky on Instagram as they boarded the same flight to London.

“Look who’s on the same flight with me to London, @Bobrisky222,” Fayose captioned the post.

Later, in the viral video, Bobrisky is seen being removed from the flight by airport officials, reportedly en route to London.

Following his removal, the popular cross-dresser took to Instagram to inform followers about the situation, alleging that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was responsible for his detainment.

“Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured,” he wrote.

This development comes on the heels of a prior incident on October 22, when Bobrisky was reportedly detained at the Sème border while allegedly attempting to leave the country.

The controversy surrounding him dates back to April 2024, when he was sentenced to six months in prison by the Federal High Court in Lagos for naira abuse.
