Drama As Peter Obi Legal Team Holds Thanks Giving Service Amid Tribunal Case (Video)

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a video of the legal team of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi in the 2023 general elections, holding their thanksgiving at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Maitama after their completion of the case at the Presidential Election Petition Court sitting in Abuja has surfaced on social media.

This online media platform gathered that on March 1, the INEC Chairman, Yakubu Mahmood, announced Tinubu as the president-elect with 8,794,726 votes, while Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the PDP and Labour party were said to have scored 6,984,520 votes and 6,101,533 votes, respectively.

Obi in his case alleged that the presidential poll was rigged against him in about 18,088 polling units aside alleged overvoting that took place in parts of the South West.

On August 1st, the adoption of final written address by Obi and the legal representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission, President Bola Tinubu, Kashim Shettima and the All Progressives Congress was heard.

The legal team of the LP candidate gave their final oral argument on their case after which, the PEPC led by Justice Haruna Tsammani, adjourned for judgement.
