Job Description:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to oversee financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports to senior management.
- Ensure accurate month-end and year-end financial record closing.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial health of the company.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for financial performance improvements.
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Develop financial projections and long-term forecasting strategies.
- Ensure timely tax reporting and compliance with tax regulations.
- Lead and mentor junior finance team members.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- 7-10 years of experience in financial management.
- ICAN certification is mandatory.
- Proven expertise as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller.
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices, regulatory requirements, and financial management principles.
- Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Salary:
N400,000 per month.
