A tragic accident has occurred on Saturday evening along the Oru-Ijebu Igbo road in Ogun State, leaving one person dead and two others injured.
The incident involved a Honda Accord, which lacked registration plates, and a TVS motorcycle with the registration number JBD 142 VZ.
According to Babatunde Akinbiyi, the spokesperson for the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), the accident was caused by the reckless driving of the Honda Accord’s driver.
“A fatal road crash occurred along the Oru – Ijebu Igbo road near DePotter College of Health in Ijebu North LGA,” Akinbiyi said in a statement on Sunday.

Three people were involved in the crash, with two sustaining injuries and one losing their life.
The injured were swiftly taken to Ijebu-Igbo General Hospital for treatment, while the body of the deceased was deposited in the hospital’s morgue.
The accident has highlighted the dangers of reckless driving on the state’s roads, sparking concerns among residents.
