Eko Hot Blog reports that DukeTV, the newest addition to Nigeria’s broadcasting landscape, has been unveiled amid pomp and celebration.
The TV station, which is based in Ikeja, Lagos State, officially launched on May 16, 2024.
The event, which served as a beacon of hope and progress in the media industry, saw the convergence of esteemed personalities, dignitaries, and guests from various walks of life.
Among the notable attendees were the revered Onikogbo of Ikogbo Kingdom, Oba Eng. Nurudeen Osoja, and Hon. Abiodun Tobun, alongside representatives of the Alara of Ilara, Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, and numerous other prominent figures.
As the curtains parted to reveal the sleek and modern facilities of DukeTV, anticipation mingled with excitement in the air.
The station’s CEO, Hon. Olabode Garbadeen, addressed the audience and heralded a new chapter in Nigeria’s media landscape.
Hon. Garbadeen expressed gratitude for their presence and outlined DukeTV’s vision to become a beacon of truth and reliability in broadcasting.
He emphasised the station’s commitment to delivering accurate and unbiased news coverage, free from the influence of partisan interests.
As the ceremony drew to a close, attendees mingled and exchanged well wishes, united in their belief in DukeTV’s ability to make a meaningful impact on Nigeria’s media landscape.
With its commitment to truth and excellence, DukeTV sets out on its new journey, poised to become a trusted source of news and information for years to come.
