The member representing Ifako-ijaiye Constituency 01 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Adewale Temitope Adedeji (JAH), has called on residents of Lagos State and Ifako-ijaiye, in particular, to draw strength from the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ during the Easter Celebration.
Hon Temitope disclosed this while distributing 60 bags of rice, 60 bags or beans and 60 bags of garri to the people of Ifako-Ijaiye.
Hon Temitope in his goodwill message maintained that there is a lesson for all residents of the state and the LG, especially as regards the ongoing battle with coronavirus.

“As residents of our great LG, there is a lesson we can take away from the Easter celebration. It is a lesson of hope; that despite the challenges we are facing as a nation, a state and a local government, we can overcome, just like our Christ overcame death.
“I know it is not easy as these are trying times for everyone. But we can draw strength from the lessons of Easter, that even though Christ suffered, he rose again in victory.”
Hon Temitope also used the opportunity to urge residents of the LG to abide by the directives of the state government on ways to curtail the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
As part of measures to cushion the effect of the lockdown on residents, Hon Temitope recently donated over 50bags of rice, 1,100 loaves of bread and over 200 crates of egg to the residents of his constituency through Community Development Committee (CDC), Muslim and Christian Communities.
