Easter is particularly important to Christians because it commemorates Christ’s death and resurrection, and it is the true origin of Christianity. Well in celebration, we must be careful, especially with the current security challenges in the country.
1. Avoid Going Out Unnecessarily
Going out to places is a huge part of celebrations in this part of the world, but with the current state of the country, it is advisable you spend this holiday in your home with friends and family. Avoid leaving the house without unless it is necessary.
2. Be Minded Of The Route You Take
If you are a part of those that are travelling or will be on the road this Easter season, you must be careful of the routes you take.
As we speak,.some roads especially in the Northern part are ‘no go areas. Ask questions if necessary and avoid those places as much as possible.
3. Avoid Contradictory Political Discussions In Public Places
The 2023 elections are fast approaching, so many politicians have proposed their ambitions, and a few have even disclosed agendas already.
It is ok to support a particular party or a candidate, but for the sake of safety, avoid any form of political arguments or contradictory discussions about the government in public places this Easter period.
