ECI Youth Committee Presents Report, Calls for Support to Enhance Future Outreach Programs

During the recent youth outreach event held at the Catholic Charities Mamie George Community Center in Richmond, Texas, the Eko Club International (ECI) Youth Committee submitted a report that highlighted their contributions and future plans, Eko Hot Blog reports

In a document signed by the Chairperson Youth Forum Committee Hon. Lanre Bello Hon. Tunde Oduntan the Secretary Youth Forum Committee , both took the opportunity to appeal for increased support and engagement from the community to ensure even more successful events in June and September 2025.

The report underscored the committee’s commitment to fostering transparency and involvement by providing regular updates on its activities and encouraging voluntary donations for purchasing essential items.

Moreover, Bello emphasized the importance of strong participation from members and stakeholders during outreach programs to maximize their impact and create memorable experiences for all involved.

With 25 chapters worldwide, including in the United Kingdom and Canada, the ECI maintains a strong global presence, particularly in the United States.

The ECI’s Restates her commitment to making a positive impact which will be reflected in its numerous programs, such as providing free healthcare services through biennial medical missions to Nigeria and supporting education through scholarship initiatives among others.

The youth committee further stated that one of the project that would be looked into is to further strengthen ECI’s impact by developing a mentorship program for young individuals. This initiative will seeks to foster a deeper understanding of ECI’s operations among youth, empowering them to contribute to their communities and develop leadership skills.

The youth committee body tasked themselves to the crucial responsibility of attracting and retaining young members by instilling the club’s mission, vision, and core values.
