The EDCAA, which is organised by the Concerned NationBuilders Initiative (CNI) and aimed at celebrating excellent individuals, companies, organisations, and schools in the Epe Division of Lagos State, is presenting 15 awards for the 2023 edition.
Each category for EDCAA 2023 features at least four nominations.
Eko Hot Blog is nominated for the Media Company of the Year award alongside five other Epe-based media outlets.

Eko Hot Blog, which is based in Lagos State, covers stories across Epe, Lagos State, Nigeria, and outside the country.
The company operates a multimedia model that includes an online print media and broadcast media.
In the past year, Eko Hot Blog has covered tens of events in the Epe Division, showcasing the best parts of the town’s culture.
For example, the company’s correspondents were on ground to cover all events at the 2023 Epe Kayokayo festival.
From the Quranic recitation contest to the novelty match, youth forum, children’s party, and the carnival procession at the grand finale of the Kayokayo festival, Eko Hot Blog‘s broadcasters and writers showcased the best of Epe’s rich culture to the world.
Also, the fast-rising media company has consistently covered various traditional events focused on exhibiting the cultural beauty of Epe Division in recent times.
Meanwhile, Eko Hot Blog’s founder, Otunba TJ Abass, was nominated for the Philanthropist of the Year award at the EDCAA 2023.
Otunba Abass, who chaired the 2023 Epe Kayokayo committee, was a major donor for the festival.
The media mogul has also been a major financial contributor to various causes affecting the development of Epe Division in recent times.
Winners of each award will be announced at the EDCAA event on December 7, 2023, at the Lagos Theatre, Epe, Lagos.
