Nottingham Forest are close to signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah after the player agreed to personal terms, according to tribuna.com.
Arsenal initially rejected Forest’s £25 million bid, including add-ons, as they seek a higher fee in the range of £30-35 million.
Negotiations are ongoing, with Forest eager to finalize the deal.
Nketiah was previously linked with a move to French Ligue 1 club Marseille, but the transfer fell through due to a disagreement over the price.
Crystal Palace has also shown interest in Nketiah but is not currently in advanced discussions with Arsenal.
Nketiah, who has scored 38 goals in 168 appearances for Arsenal, would bolster Forest’s attacking lineup, joining forces with Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi.
He did not feature in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium last weekend.
