Edo APC Primary: Ajumobi Inaugurates Hope-Led Committee

Acting National Chairman of the All progressive congress APC senator Abiola Ajimobi has inaugurated the Edo State Governorship primary election and appeal Committee for the three aspirants cleared to participate in the June 22, Edo governorship primaries.

The APC National Working Committee, headed by the Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Deputy National Chairman, South, was represented by the national vice chairman south/south, Hilliard Etta during the inauguration at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

The acting chairman who announced governor of IMO state, Senator Hope Uzodinma, as the Chairman of the Election Committee Saying their job is to ensure a successful conduct of the primary election in Edo State.

Announcing members of the Election and Appeals Committee Eta noted that members of both committees were carefully chosen to ensure a hitch free Governorship primary election in Edo State and to ensure continuous peaceful coexistence within the party.

The committee of the primary elections are Governor Hope Uzodinma as the Chairman, with Senator, Ajibola Bashiru as Secretary.

Others are Alhaji Abdullahi Abass; Gbenga Elegbeleye, Ibrahim Sabo; Ocho Obioma and Hajia Amina Lantana Muhammed.

The Primary election appeal members include professor, Mustapha Bello as Chairman, Dr Kayode Ajulo as Secretary, Nasiru Junju, Umar Ahmed, and Rasaq Bamu.
