Edo Election: APC, PDP Each Win 2 LGAs, LP Yet To Secure A Victory

As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) releases results from the Edo governorship election, candidates from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have achieved victories in four local governments.

Senator Monday Okpebholo, the APC candidate, claimed victories in Esan West and Owan East local governments.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Meanwhile, Asue Ighodalo, the PDP candidate, emerged victorious in the Igueben and Ovia North East local governments.

In contrast, Olumide Akpata, the candidate for the Labour Party, has yet to secure a win in any of the local governments announced so far by INEC.

Our analysis indicates that Okpebholo of the APC won in Esan West and Owan East, while Ighodalo of the PDP secured victories in Igueben and Ovia North East.
