Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, along with other prominent leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), attended the party’s governorship campaign rally in Benin City, Edo State, on Saturday.
During the rally, Abubakar urged Edo residents to vote for Asue Ighodalo, the PDP’s candidate.

The off-cycle governorship election in the state is scheduled to be held on September 21.
The event was also graced by several key figures, including Edo Governor Godwin Obaseki, Senator Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto South, former Delta Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, former Cross River Governor Donald Duke, former Senate President Adolphus Wabara, and other party stakeholders.
