Ekohotblog, September 20, 2020…Thugs reportedly shot an Independent National Electoral Commission official on Saturday during the Edo State governorship election.

Ekohotblog.com confirms that the Edo state governorship election was conducted Yesterday, September 19, 2020,

The commission confirmed the news on Sunday.

Godswill Alameni, Collation Officer for Etsako Central Local Government Area disclosed that the unnamed INEC staff was shot on Saturday and was currently hospitalised.

He added that due to the show of misconduct, the commission cancelled results in a ward in the council.
