“He was a man who didn’t discriminate,” Saico remarked, adding that as long as someone was doing the right thing, Alhaji Surakat would be their strongest ally.

“His absence leaves a void that will be difficult to fill,” Saico said, urging the community to continue to uphold the values that Alhaji Surakat lived by.
