Education District IV Organises One-Day Workshop For School Principals

Lagos State Education District IV has organised a One-Day Workshop for Principals of all Senior Secondary Schools under the district with a charge to be more diligent and committed to duties.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary, Education District IV, Mr. Olusegun Osinaike said the training is aimed at encouraging the participants to devise different methods to enhance students’ performance in internal and external examinations.

He stated that there is an urgent need for Principals to develop new strategies and interventions in the administration of teachers towards improving students’ performances in examinations.

According to him, a radical approach must be instituted to achieve the best in students’ performance, reiterating that he would not be happy with any school whose students underperform in the forthcoming WASSCE Examination.

Osinaike also urged participants at the workshop to apply and participate actively in online international competitions for self-improvement toward achieving the set goals and objectives.
