EFCC Arraigns One over N25m Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Kano Zonal Office today October 31, 2019, arraigned one Ahmad Muhammad Bawa before Justice Hadiza Suleiman of the Kano State High Court on one count charge bordering on Misappropriation of Funds.

Trouble began for Bawa when the Kano office of the Commission received a petition from one Abba Aji Agid alleging that sometime in May, 2015 he was introduced to the suspect who claimed to be the proprietor of a company, JALAM INTEGRATED FARMS AND FOODS LIMITED;

Where he collected the sum of N25,500,000 under the guise that he was going to be a partner in a business that would generate profit for them.

Investigations showed the suspect converted the money to his personal use and since then all effort made by the complainant to retrieve his money proved abortive.
