EFCC Arrests Father For Trying to Smuggle in Drugs to Son in Prison

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arrested a man, Muyiwa Otuyalo in Ibadan for attempting to smuggle in hard drugs to a young man believed to be his son who is in the custody of the commission.

The man was arrested on Monday when he paid a visit to the commission’s office where his son was held. He was allegedly caught trying to give his son something.

When the content of the gift was checked, it was discovered to be Rohypnol, a prescription drug used as tranquilizer and he was promptly arrested.

Damilola Otuyalo who is the man’s son has been in the custody of the EFCC for money laundering and his father, Muyiwa has now been paraded and is awaiting trial.
