EFCC Arrests Three Suspects Linked to Q-Net Scam

- The EFCC is currently interrogating the suspects.
- The suspect were arrested in Abuja on May 1, 2025, under the name Mighty Infinity Millionaire Limited.
- They offered fake Bachelor of Science degrees in various subjects such as Medicine, Nursing, Cybersecurity, Computer Studies, and Geology, falsely claiming an affiliation with Quest International University in Malaysia.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended three suspects believed to be the masterminds behind the Q-Net scam in Nigeria.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the suspects, Olaniyan Joshua, Oyetunde Julius Akano, and Victor Oluwale, were arrested in Abuja on May 1, 2025, under the name Mighty Infinity Millionaire Limited.
The EFCC is currently interrogating the suspects.

According to a statement from the EFCC, the accused falsely claimed to represent Q-net, a legitimate global e-commerce and direct selling company. Q-net has denied any association with the suspects and their fraudulent activities.
Further investigations uncovered that the suspects were also operating a deceptive university training program in pavilions and under trees.
They offered fake Bachelor of Science degrees in various subjects such as Medicine, Nursing, Cybersecurity, Computer Studies, and Geology, falsely claiming an affiliation with Quest International University in Malaysia.
The raid targeted a fraudulent university training program that charged student victims between N1.2 million and N1.3 million in registration fees, generating hundreds of millions in proceeds of crime for the scammers.
