EFCC Storms Hotel In Ondo, Arrests Suspected 8 ‘Yahoo Boys’
- Eight suspected internet fraudsters, popularly called ‘Yahoo boys’ have been arrested by the Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), in Oba-Ile Akure,O state.
- The suspects are; Olasukanmi Daramola, Oluwaseyi Akinluyi, Abiola Mutiu, Adebanjo Adegoke and Keyinde Idowu, Sunday Morufu, Adebayo Odewunmi and Ridwan Tobiloba.
Eight suspected internet fraudsters, popularly called ‘Yahoo boys’ have been arrested by the Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), in Oba-Ile Akure, Ondo state.
The suspects who were arrested on Monday are; Olasukanmi Daramola, Oluwaseyi Akinluyi, Abiola Mutiu, Adebanjo Adegoke and Keyinde Idowu, Sunday Morufu, Adebayo Odewunmi and Ridwan Tobiloba.
The internet fraudsters were arrested at their hotel hideout in Housing Estate, Oba-Ile in Akure North Local Government area of the State.
It was gathered from a reliable source that EFCC operatives stormed Akure from the Ibadan Zonal Office and apprehended the suspects in their hotel at about 6pm.

The EFCC men were said to have acted on intelligent report linking the suspects to alleged fraudulent activities, ranging from scams on numerous dating sites, obtaining money by false pretense and others.
Items said to be recovered from the suspects are: Three exotic cars, mobile phones and laptops alongside several incriminating documents.
According to the EFCC officers,, the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
