EFCC Nabs 21 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Benin

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had arrested twenty-one suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in Benin City, Edo State.

In a statement on its X page, EFCC said suspects were arrested based on actionable intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet related fraud.

Items recovered from them include 10 exotic cars, laptops and phones.

According to the statement, the suspects will be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
