EFCC Nabs Chinese Over Illegal Mining In Ilorin

EFCC have arrested chinese national for illegal mining in Kwara

 

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Gang Deng, a 29-year-old Chinese national, has been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ilorin Zonal Command on suspicion of engaging in illegal mining in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Deng was taken into custody on Friday after being discovered to be in unlawful possession of solid minerals.

 

According to a statement made accessible to newsmen in Ilorin on Saturday and signed by the head of EFCC’s media and publicity department, Wilson Uwujaren, a truckload of minerals thought to be lepidolite were recovered from him.
