EFCC Re-Arraigns Ayo Fayose Before A New Judge In Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Tuesday re-arraigned the former Governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose in a Federal High Court in Lagos for an alleged fraud of N6.9billion.

 

Recall that the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Adamu Abdu-Kafarati granted the request of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to re-assign the trial last month.

 

Now, the trial starts afresh before Justice Chuwkujekwu Aneke following the transfer of the case from the courtroom of Justice Mojisola Olatoregun.  By a letter dated May 23, 2019, and addressed to Justice Olatoregun, Justice Abdu-Kafarati wrote;
