Eguavoen Names 23-Man Squad For AFCON Qualifiers Against Rwanda, Benin

Super Eagles interim coach Austin Eguavoen has announced a 23-man squad for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Rwanda and Benin.

The squad includes the return of strikers Victor Osimhen and Sadiq Umar, as the 2013 African Champions look to secure their qualification ticket for the next AFCON, set to take place in Morocco.

Leading Group D with 10 points, the Super Eagles have already claimed six points from Libya. They now need at least one more point to guarantee their place in next year’s AFCON tournament.
