Salah achieved this remarkable feat when he scored the match-winning goal for Liverpool against Brighton on Sunday, March 31, guiding The Reds to a hard-fought 2-1 victory at Anfield. The 31-year-old Egypt international’s latest strike takes his tally to 16 goals and 9 assists (25 goal contributions) in the 2023-2024 season, cementing his place among the Premier League’s elite.
With this accomplishment, Salah joins the prestigious ranks of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and Newcastle United great Alan Shearer as the only players to have made at least 25 goal contributions in seven different Premier League campaigns.
Salah’s journey in the Premier League began at Chelsea, where he joined from FC Basel on January 26, 2014. Despite failing to establish himself at the London club, his unwavering determination saw him embark on loan spells at Fiorentina and Roma before eventually making a permanent move to the Italian capital in 2016.
