Egyptian Olympic wrestler Mohamed ‘Kesho’ Ibrahim was arrested in Paris on August 9 for alleged sexual assault.
According to the Paris prosecutor’s office, the arrest occurred around 5 a.m. in front of the Oz Cafe, where the 26-year-old wrestler from Egypt is accused of inappropriately touching another customer EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

The Egyptian Olympic Committee (EOC) confirmed that Kesho, who won a bronze medal in Greco-Roman wrestling at the Tokyo 2020 Games, is the athlete in question.
The EOC stated that Kesho will be subject to an investigation by its ethics committee, and if the allegations are confirmed, he could face a lifetime ban from competition.

Kesho, who was defeated by Azerbaijan’s Hasrat Jafarov in the first round of the men’s 67kg Greco-Roman wrestling on Wednesday, had been granted permission to leave the Egyptian camp to attend the final of his weight category. However, he did not return as expected and turned off his phone.
