EKO HOT BLOG reports that a deadly fight broke out between Party Agents at the polling unit of Ex-Ekiti state Governor, Ayodele Fayose.
It was gathered that the fight broke out over a ‘queuing’ dispute and both agents wasted no time in exchanging heavy punches. This has caused tension and anxiety in the polling unit.
So far, no misfortune has been reported as a result of the fracas and security agencies have been up and doing in ensuring a seamless process in the unit.
The Ekiti state Gubernatorial Elections is currently ongoing and has so far been a peaceful exercise. Candidates of the two frontline parties, APC and PDP have since voted.
Meanwhile, in related reports, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested persons suspected to be engaged in vote-buying in the ongoing Ekiti State governorship poll.
The suspects were reported to have been caught with monies allegedly used for vote-buying.
