Ekiti Election: ‘You Destroyed It With Paper Money’, Sowore Slams APC

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore, has stated that the All Progressives Congress, APC monetized the just concluded Ekiti gubernatorial election.
This online media earlier reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Abiodun Oyebanji as the winner of the governorship election in Ekiti State.
Oyebanji who won 15 out of the 16 Local Government Areas of the state gathered 187,057 votes.
Reacting to Oyebanji’s win via Twitter, Sowore alleged that the election was manipulated by the APC.
He accused the outgoing governor of the state, Kayode Fayemi, and other members of the ruling party of destroying democracy in the country.
He wrote: “In Ekiti the, the APC monetised the governorship election to the point that those that stayed away from their (s)election playing street soccer probably felt they are the only ones who took the right decision. It’s a shame!
