Eko Club International In Epe For Food Palliatives’ Distribution

Eko Club International has distributed food palliatives in Epe.

Eko Hot Blog reports that Eko Club International, a renowned socio-cultural organization, visited Epe, Lagos State, on Saturday to distribute food palliatives aimed at alleviating the ongoing hardship within the community.

The distribution took place at key locations, including Thani Oladunjoye Old People Care Centre, the Olu Epe Palace, and the Oloja of Epe Palace.

The initiative, part of Eko Club International’s ongoing efforts to support local communities, was led by Mrs. Bukola Adebiyi, a representative of the club.

The distribution included essential food items such as rice, beans, garri, and other staples, which are vital for daily sustenance.

Mrs. Adebiyi highlighted the club’s commitment to community service and its dedication to improving the lives of Lagosians, particularly in these challenging economic times.

“Our aim is to provide some relief to families who are struggling to make ends meet.

“This is just one of the many ways we intend to support our community,” she said.

The event saw a significant turnout, with many community members expressing their gratitude for the timely intervention.

Mrs. Folake Ajayi, a beneficiary, remarked that, “This support means a lot to us.

“Times are tough, and every bit of help counts. We are grateful to Eko Club International for their generosity.”

Meanwhile, traditional rulers, including the Olu Epe of Epe Kingdom, Oba Shefiu Adewale, and the Oloja of Epe, Oba Kamorudeen Animashaun, were present to oversee the distribution and extend their blessings.

They commended Eko Club International for their continuous support and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering unity and resilience within the community.

Mrs. Adebiyi, who spearheaded the distribution, expressed her satisfaction with the event’s success.

“It is heartwarming to see the smiles on the faces of our people. We are committed to continuing our support and ensuring that no one is left behind in these trying times,” she stated.

In addition to the food distribution, Eko Club International also announced plans for future projects aimed at enhancing local infrastructure, providing educational scholarships, and supporting small businesses to stimulate economic growth in Epe.
