The Ekiti State University Alumni Association has said the next governor of th State must be a graduate of the institution.
The association’s National President, Dr. Adedotun Adetunberu, stated this on Tuesday at the first Annual Lecture and Award Ceremony organised by the Deji Oso-led state chapter of the Alumni Association, in Ado Ekiti.
While agitating for this position, Adetunberu opined that fifty per cent of the electorate in Ekiti are holders of our EKSU certificates.
He added that it was time for EKSU alumni to determine the fate of the state and indeed turn things around for the better for the institution.
Adetunberu, however, said this was a challenge to all alumni of the 38-year-old institution.
He, further stated that as an association they must ensure that the leaders makes the development of EKSU a top priority, stressing any leader who fails to do so is not worthy of their votes.
