Election Result Won't Be Transmitted Electronically – INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has announced that the election result from the November 16 polls will not be transmitted electronically.
INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner REC, in charge of Bayelsa State, Mr. Monday Udoh, disclosed this to newsmen at a press conference in the state capital, Yenagoa on Wednesday.
He said “There is no server in Bayelsa State. Do I have a server here (in INEC office)? Can I transmit results except to Bayelsa server here? So, I don’t have a server to transmit results to.”
The REC noted that voting on election day would be done manually and results of the exercise could not therefore be transmitted electronically
