Ekohotblog reports that the Emerald Better Living Foundation has successfully completed a five-week Software Testing Training program for 100 youths from Epe Division.
This training, which would have cost about £500 per person, was provided completely free in partnership with UK-based Mainstone Technologies Limited.
Designed to equip young people with valuable tech skills, the training was offered both online and in person.
Mr. Adenaya Ibrahim, a former student of Epe Grammar School and leader of Mainstone Technologies, made this initiative possible as part of his company’s commitment to giving back to the community.
“My mission is to help young people in Epe gain skills that can open up job opportunities in the tech industry,” said Ibrahim.
The Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, also played a key role by providing the training venue and support.
“Youth development is very important to me, and I’m glad we could support this program that helps prepare young people for a better future,” Akinloye stated.
Hon. Muyiwa Okesanya, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Emerald Better Living Foundation, applauded Mr. Ibrahim and Mainstone Technologies for their generous contribution and initiative.
“This training is a huge opportunity for our youths, and we are thankful to Mr. Ibrahim for helping to make it a reality,” Okesanya said.
Osifeko Mark Olaniyi (Omonla), the Foundation’s Executive Director, explained that the Foundation’s goal is to empower the community.
“At Emerald Better Living Foundation, we want to see a better society where everyone has the chance to succeed, starting from Epe Division. We will continue to support programs that help our people grow,” Olaniyi stated.
Mr. Ibrahim also promised to mentor the top students from the training, helping them gain additional certifications and start earning from the skills they have learned.
