Emergency: Abandoned Boy in Critical Condition at Epe General Hospital

Ekohotblog reports that an unidentified boy has been found abandoned in critical condition at Epe General Hospital.

He was discovered wearing a T-shirt from Iwerekun Community Junior High School, Lakowe, and is unable to speak or communicate, making it challenging to identify him or reach his family.

Hospital officials stated that the boy was brought in by a concerned citizen but has not received full medical attention as no family members are present to support him.

His inability to communicate has further complicated efforts to identify him.

Attempts to identify the boy are ongoing, with his picture and details shared with the Emergency Stakeholders Forum. Support for his medical care has also been requested. He is currently under treatment in the hospital’s critical care unit.

A Social Welfare Department staff member at Epe General Hospital stated:

“We have reached out to the Emergency Stakeholders Forum to help identify the boy. We are doing everything possible to ensure he receives the care he needs, but it would be a great help if his family or anyone who knows him could come forward.”

The Social Welfare Office is actively working on this case and is appealing to the public for any information about the boy or his family.

EDITOR’S NOTE: People are encouraged to share this news widely to aid in identifying the boy and supporting his treatment.
